Kristy Braden was appointed to the Board in June of 2018, filling the vacancy left when another member resigned. Ms. Braden was elected to a full four-year term in 2019, and voted in as BOE Secretary by her fellow board members.

Jason Lacroix was elected to the Board of Education in 2017. Mr. Lacroix is a 30-year resident of Grayslake, and is an alumnus of CCSD 46 schools. Mr. Lacroix was born and raised in Grayslake, and returned to the community in 2012 as his children entered school age. Mr. Lacroix holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois. He is a Finance Supervisor at Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Lacroix and his wife Amber have three children; one at Frederick School and two at Woodview School.

Stephen H. Mack, EdD, BOE Vice President

Stephen Mack was appointed to the Board in November of 2016 to fill a board member resignation. He was elected to a full term on the Board in 2017. Dr. Mack was voted in as Board Secretary by his fellow board members in 2017, and BOE Vice President in 2019. Dr. Mack and his family have lived in Grayslake for 17 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and International Studies from Northwestern University, a Master of Arts degree in French from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Doctor of Education degree specializing in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, and Curriculum Design from Argosy University. Dr. Mack is the Instructor of French for Wauconda High School. He has a graduate of Park Campus, and two children attending Woodview School.

Kristy Miller, a long time Grayslake resident, was elected to the Board of Education in April of 2019. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science in Communication Education from Miami University (Ohio) and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University, Mrs. Miller has earned certificates in Appreciative Inquiry and Social Impact Strategy from Champlain College and the University of Pennsylvania respectively. She is also an avid outdoors woman and has paddled and camped in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of northern Minnesota since 1978. Mrs. Miller serves in her church as a volunteer producer and has been an active supporter of the Community Art Fair. Mrs. Miller and her husband's eldest son is studying Industrial Engineering at Purdue University; they also have a son at Grayslake Central High School, and a daughter attending Grayslake Middle School.

Tamika Nash was appointed to the Board of Education in November of 2019 to fill a board member resignation. Mrs. Nash holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance and Real Estate from Temple University, a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from University of Phoenix and has earned a certificate in Supplier Relationship Management from the International Association of Commercial and Contract Management. She is a Supplier Management Consultant for Allstate Insurance Company and a servant leader involved in various Lake County 501c3 organizations dedicated to youth development and empowerment. Mrs. Nash relocated to Grayslake in 2014 from Philadelphia, PA with her husband Warren and two children who attend CCSD 46 schools; one at Grayslake Middle School and one at Frederick School.

Steven Strack

Steven Strack was first elected to the Board in 2013 and was elected Board President by his fellow members in 2013 and 2015. Mr. Strack was re-elected to the Board in 2017, and again voted in as President for the 2017-2019 term. Mr. Strack, a resident of Hainesville since 1999, is a graduate of Augustana College and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is an Enterprise Business Continuity Consultant for Northwestern Mutual. Mr. Strack has a child attending Grayslake Central High School, and a child attending Augustana College.

Jim Weidman, BOE President

Jim Weidman was elected to the Board in 2013 and was elected Board Vice President by his fellow members in 2013 and 2015. Mr. Weidman was re-elected to the Board in 2017 and again voted in as Vice-President. In 2019, Mr. Weidman was elected Board President. Mr. Weidman, a 46-year resident of Grayslake, is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and the College of Lake County. He is a Battalion Chief with the Grayslake Fire Department, and also serves as the Emergency Manager for the fire department. Mr. Weidman is also a Field Staff Instructor at the Illinois Fire Service Institute teaching hazardous materials courses. Mr. Weidman has three children attending Frederick School, Grayslake Middle School and Grayslake Central High School.
