Turn Off Your Lights Tuesdays
Student Council, along with the students of Park School are working hard to help conserve energy! Every Tuesday, the staff and students of Park turn off lights around the school to help save energy and cut the cost of electricity. This is just one of the ways that Park School is Going GREEN!!
Quotes
Many of Park School's student council members have been working very hard to help make their school look great! Recently, the students have been working on finishing the quotes located in the sixth grade hallway. The student council members are doing a wonderful job, and are taking their time to make sure that the quotes look their very best. Once the quotes in the sixth grade hall are finished, student council will move to the first grade hallway to help add some wonderful quotes there as well. Be sure to keep your eye out for these wonderful new additions to our school! They look AMAZING!!
Soles 4 Souls
Student Council is excited to announce its new philanthropy event! Student Council, along with Park School, and the non-for profit organization Soles 4 Souls will be hosting a shoe drive during third quarter. Student Council will be encouraging students and their families to donate new and/or gently used shoes, sandals, and even money! All of the shoes and money that is collected will be given to the Soles 4 Souls organization, who then provides shoes to children and adults overseas who are unable to afford them. Student Council has set a goal for each class at Park School to collect 50 pairs of shoes! We would also like to see the entire school collect 1,500 pairs of shoes! If the students of Park can reach their goal, their will be an AMAZING prize for them! Be sure to send in any shoes that you would like to donate, and watch for the Soles 4 Souls thermometer in the front entry way, that will be tracking the progress of the shoes that each class, and the school has collected! So don't wait! Let's start running towards are goal!! We can do it!!
