ELL Summer School is available for students in grades K-8 who are currently participating in English Language Learner, TBE, TPI classes in District 46. Classes will run from June 14-July 7, 2010 from 8:30-11:25AM. (No classes on July 5th). Visit the ELL Summer School page for more information and to download the registration forms. Community Consolidated School District 46 is considering adding a half day, tuition based kindergarten for the 2010/2011 school year. Kindergarten students could have the option of full day experience at a tuition rate of approximately $3200 per year. Before proceeding with these plans, we need to determine the level of interest. Trip CCSD 46 will be holding an informal meeting about the upcoming Eighth Grade Washington D.C. trip on February 16th. We will discuss the exciting itinerary, travel cost, and answer questions. In order to serve all families to the best of our abilities, we are having one meeting at Park Campus at 5:30 PM and another at Grayslake Middle School at 7:00 PM. Grayslake Middle School to present "Nights of Holiday Favorites." Monday, December 14th the Grayslake Middle School music program will feature 7th Grade Concert Band, 7th Grade Treble Choir and Jazz Band. On Tuesday, December 15th the 8th Grade Symphonic Band, 8th Grade Treble Choir and Jazz Ensemble. Parents who ordered poinsettia plants will be available to pick up after each evening performance on the stage area. Posted 11-24-09: GMS News  Grayslake Middle School is proud to announce "The Wiz!"
"The Wiz!" will be held December 10th, 11th and 12th with a curtain at 7:00 p.m. at Grayslake Middle School. A cast of thirty-eight seventh and eighth graders assisted by a live stage band of twenty and a backstage crew of twenty-one, this will be a musical that will bring a smile to all faces of any age. Dancing corn, singing garbage and three witches for Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, and The Lion to adventure their way to Oz.

In our effort to reduce paper and "Go Green" CCSD 46 is pleased to offer an opportunity for our community neighbors to advertise special programs and events which are relevant to the CCSD 46 community. FNO provides a safe environment that includes basketball, dancing with a DJ, special
event activities along with a concession stand. The first FNO scheduled for September 18 has been rescheduled to October 2nd, so return your registration form soon! Posted 9-01-09: GMS News Looking for twelve 7th graders and twelve 8th graders to be part of the 2009-2010 GMS Yearbook! Please fill out the registration form and return it to Mrs. Kiddle by Tuesday, Sept. 8th. Our first meeting will take place shortly after Sept. 8th and we will be choosing the cover for this year's yearbook! Posted 7-23-09: GMS News "Jump Up" is a new program offered by GMS to give 7th and 8th grade students who need a little more help academically and organizationally before the school year begins. Posted 7-23-09: PC News D46 is holding a sports physical night on August 26th from 4:00-7:00 PM for all students who would like a physical to participate in sports programs at Park Campus or Grayslake Middle School for the upcoming year.
