EMERGENCY INFORMATION

Community Consolidated School District 46 has implemented an instant parent contact service called SchoolReach to send important messages to parents via home telephone numbers.

The SchoolReach system uses the home phone number supplied on your student's school registration form. The phone numbers are encrypted and and are restricted for use only by CCSD 46 emergency contact notification such as weather related school closings.

School closings will also be prominently posted on the District homepage (www.d46.org).

When it becomes necessary to close CCSD 46 schools, please be apprised of the following:

CCSD 46 school closings will be posted on the district web site and each school's web page.
The SchoolReach emergency calling system will be activated, notifying parents and staff that school will be closed.
Chicago area AM radio stations WGN (720), WBBM (780), WKRS (1220) and FM station WXLC (102.3) and TV stations CBS (2), NBC (5), ABC (7), WGN (9), FOX, and CLTV will be notified of our closing.
