Congratulations to Woodview School for their 2009 recognition as a Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School.

In September of 2007, CCSD 46 welcomed members of the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence program into our district to evaluate our schools. The Blue Ribbon Assessment team looked at the following nine areas which have been found to be necessary in improving student performance:

Data was gathered through Blue Ribbon Assessment team direct school and classroom observations, staff, administration, parent and student survey results.


Prairieview School has been recognized as a Blue Ribbon Lighthouse school. This award is based on the Blueprint for Excellence assessment process, and Prairieview school met or exceeded the criteria in all nine categories. CCSD 46 congratulates Dr. Schoenberg, the staff, and community of Prairieview School on this prestigious accomplishment.


Both Meadowview School and Woodview School have been recognized as Blue Ribbon Points of Light schools. This award spotlights Meadowview and Woodview's journey toward ultimately achieving the status of Blue Ribbon Lighthouse Schools. Congratulations to both Meadowview and Woodview on this honor!
